The Hult Ashridge Center for Executive Coaching awards accredited supervisor status to individuals who meet our criteria.
We see supervision as vital in the effectiveness of coaching relationships. Our supervision accreditation has been awarded the EMCC European Supervision Quality Award.
The Hult Ashridge Center for Executive Coaching has been providing accreditation to executive and team coaches since 2004.
We offer validation to internal coaches and leader coaches who meet our criteria.
Our Ashridge Accredited Supervisor status is reserved for outstanding supervisors who demonstrate their competence and relational coaching ability through our rigorous assessment process.
Individuals who successfully complete our Postgraduate Diploma in Organizational and Coaching Supervision program can apply for our supervision accreditation.
As a supervisor accredited by the Hult Ashridge Center for Executive Coaching, you must adhere to our Code of Conduct for Supervisors.
Supervision Self Assessment
A 'Supervisor Self-Assessment’ is an assessment of your own current competence. You are required to submit a 2,500 word ‘Supervision Practice Overview’ comprising:
i. Your supervision profile
ii. A self-assessment of your current coaching/consultant supervision competence
iii. Written feedback from supervisees (completed assignments only)
iv. Evidence of participating in coaching and OD consulting and supervision over the last two years, including at least 10 (individual or group) supervision sessions
v. An overview of CPD in the last two years in addition to your own supervision
vi. Evidence of at least 20 sessions of supervision over the last two years, including numbers of hours, supervisees and dates.
Normative Supervision Report
This report should be 1,500 words in length. It will be reviewed by two members of the accreditation board and should include:
Live Supervision Session or Submission of Recording
A record of recent supervision work with a different client from the one in your Normative Supervision Report
i. A single continuous digital recording of 30 minutes (+10%) of live supervision work (an excerpt of a full-length session).
ii. A verbatim written transcript of the recording.
iii. A written commentary on the recorded supervision describing the context; the client; the particular session recorded; what this session demonstrates; and how the learning from Modules 1 and 2 has affected your practice.
iv. Written feedback from the supervisee.
We regularly host virtual and in-person events on new and emerging theories of executive coaching and supervision. We also run information sessions with recent graduates to highlight our coaching programmes.
