As room types are limited, we encourage students who are interested in a specific room type to reserve their place as soon as possible. Please note, room types are not confirmed until a housing deposit is paid at the time your reservation is made. All first-year Hult students must live in one of the dorm-style room options.
Standard double room
Our standard double rooms bring university living to a whole new standard. You will share this room with another student, but the room is designed to give you each a sense of privacy, with a privacy partition between beds and dedicated closet and drawer space. Price is per person and includes all utility bills, service & property maintenance charges, 24-hour security, and high speed wifi. Linens, towels and other personal effects not included.
Standard single room
Our standard single rooms still offer students the community living feel of dormitory life, but with the privacy that comes with their own room and bathroom. Price is for single occupancy only and includes all utilities, service & property maintenance charges, 24-hour security, and high speed wifi. Linens, towels, and other personal effects not included.
Premium single room
Our largest single occupancy dorm room. These rooms types are either a larger layout single room (which may be ADA accessible) or a double occupancy room offered for single occupancy. Layout included illustrates the double occupancy room re-purposed for single occupancy (arm chair not included). Floor plans will vary room by room. Price is for single occupancy only and includes all utility bills, service & property maintenance charges, 24-hour security, and high speed wifi. Linens, towels, and other personal effects are not included.
As apartment types are limited, we encourage students who are interested in a specific apartment type to reserve their place as soon as possible. Please note, apartment types are not confirmed until a housing deposit is paid when your reservation is made. Apartment reservations are open to all returning undergraduate and graduate students at Hult Boston.
Premium studio apartment
We have modified our two bed apartment for single occupancy to meet the high demand for studio apartments. Nearly twice the size of our standard studio apartments, these units feature all the benefits of our studios with extra space for students that prefer more room. Units are ADA accessible.
This room type will either have an open floor plan or a door separating the bedroom and common area.
One-bed apartment
These units are significantly larger than our studio and are a perfect fit for someone who wants total privacy, but a little more space. For single occupancy only—price is for one person and includes high speed wifi and utilities. Linens, plates, flatware, and other personal effects are not included.
Premium one-bed apartment
Our largest single occupancy dorm room. These rooms types are either a larger layout single room (which may be ADA accessible) or a double occupancy room offered for single occupancy.

Two-bed apartment
Designed to be offer a cost-effective, yet private option for our students. In these units, each student has their own room, but shares a kitchenette and bathroom with another student. Price is per person and includes high speed wifi. Linens, plates, flatware, and other personal effects are not included.
Premium two-bed apartment
Our premium 2-bed apartment offers the same layout as our standard 2-bed, but more square footage. A perfect option for students who are looking to share, but want some additional space. Price is per person and includes high speed wifi and utilities. Linens, plates, flatware and other personal effects are not included.
Payment terms
Below, please find an outline of what payments are due for your housing and what they cover. Each student will sign a License Agreement, a formal agreement required by all students prior to moving in. For complete information on terms and conditions, please refer to your License Agreement which will be sent to you after you reserve your room.
Housing deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 1,000 USD is required to reserve your preferred room type. The Housing Deposit is a separate charge from the Housing Fee and will appear as an individual line on the financial statement. At the completion of the reservation, the Housing Deposit will be refunded to the student provided the stipulations below are met:
Normal wear and tear is considered normal, but money from this deposit may be used if furniture is damaged due to negligence or the room is deemed to be left in need of deep cleaning.

Housing fee
The fee to stay for the desired length in your chosen room type. Our Hult House apartments include all furniture and utilities as part of your stay.
Your Housing Fee is due on the same schedule as your Program Fee.
Cancellation/refund policy
All housing deposits are non-refundable with the exception of those paid by new undergraduate students. Deposits paid by new undergraduate students are refundable until May 1 after which then they are non-refundable.

When can I move in?
All arrival information will be made available to you on your My Hult account (my.hult.edu) but move-in dates are generally 1-2 days before new student registration.
Can I choose my room?
You can choose and pay for a room type, but your specific room number will be given to you at check-in.
How do I find a roommate?
Our housing team is happy to help find you a roommate. You will be matched with an individual of the same gender and the same degree program (bachelor's or master's). A form to solicit specific requests will be sent to all students in shared rooms. Please note, while we will match specific individuals who request each other as roommates, we cannot guarantee other types of requests.
When are payments due?
Your License Fee follow the same payment plan as your Program Fees. If you only book for the academic year, you will have an opportunity to extend your booking to include the summer terms (subject to availability).
What is the cancellation policy?
Prior to completing your License Agreement, any requests to cancel or amend a booking must be submitted in writing to the Hult Housing Team. Please note, your deposit is non-refundable should you decide to cancel any time after the cancellation period. The full cancellation terms will be included in your License Agreement.
How do I know what booking term to choose?
The Fall/Spring/Summer plan spans throughout your academic program, while the Fall/Spring term ends before the summer modules. If you are looking to rotate during your program, Fall/Spring is the best option. If you do not know if you want to rotate—we will allow you to change from a Fall/Spring/Summer booking term to the Fall/Spring booking term once you have chosen your rotation electives. Note: Upgrading from Fall/Spring to Fall/Spring/Summer is based on availability and is at a higher price. If you are not sure, we suggest you book the Fall/Spring/Summer term.
