    Dorm Room Options

    Rooms at Hult House are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly recommend booking early to secure your preferred room type. Availability is limited, and reservations are only confirmed once the housing deposit has been received.

    Please note: First-year undergraduate students are required to live on campus in a dormitory-style unit.

    Standard double room

    The Standard Double Room offers comfort and functionality in a dormitory-style setting, ideal for two students sharing. Each room includes two Twin XL beds, two desks with chairs and shelving, dedicated closet and drawer space for each student, large windows for natural light (windows do not open), and a private bathroom shared only with your roommate.

    The listed price is per person and includes water, electricity, heating and cooling, Wi-Fi, maintenance, 24/7 security, and property fees. Linens, towels, and personal items are not included. This room provides a convenient, welcoming environment for focused study and comfortable living.

    Premium double room

    The Premium Double Room is the largest dormitory-style option and offers a spacious and modern living environment with enhanced accessibility features.
    Each room includes two Twin XL beds, two desks with chairs and shelving, a dedicated closet and drawer space for each student, large windows (windows do not open), and a private bathroom with ADA modifications. Layouts vary; images shown represent one configuration.

    Premium single room

    The Premium Single Room is our largest single-occupancy dormitory-style option and offers a modern design and extra space. Layouts for this room type vary and may include a converted double room or an ADA-accessible unit designed to meet accessibility needs.

    Each room features a Twin XL bed (or two, depending on assignment), a desk with shelving, a dedicated closet and drawer space, large windows (windows do not open), and a private bathroom. Images shown on this page depict the converted double layout; ADA-accessible units are not pictured but offer comparable features.

    Apartment options

    Apartments are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage you to reserve early to secure your preferred option. Reservations are confirmed once your housing deposit is received. Availability is limited, and apartments are open to all returning undergraduate and graduate students at Hult Boston.

     

    Studio apartment

    The Studio Apartment blends privacy and functionality for students who want their own space with added convenience.
    Each unit includes a full-sized bed, a desk and chair, dedicated closet and drawer space, a private bathroom, and a kitchenette equipped with a convection microwave, counter-height refrigerator, and stovetop with burner and warmer.

    The listed price includes water, electricity, heating and cooling, Wi-Fi, maintenance, 24/7 security, and property fees. Linens, towels, and personal items are not included.

    This option is ideal for students seeking a private living space and comfort in a modern space.

    Premium studio apartment

    The Premium Studio Apartment is nearly twice the size of a standard studio and offers enhanced accessibility. Each unit includes a full-sized bed, a desk and chair, dedicated closet and drawer space, a kitchenette with a convection microwave, countertop refrigerator, and stovetop burner and warmer, plus a private bathroom with ADA modifications.

    All Premium Studio Apartments are ADA-accessible and feature roll-in showers or bathtubs with support beams and seats, as well as lowered sinks, cabinets, and appliances. Layouts vary and cannot be selected. Images shown represent one configuration.

    One-Bed Apartment

    The One-Bedroom Apartment offers privacy and a home-like feel, and features a separate bedroom with a full-sized bed, a living area with seating and large windows (windows do not open), a private bathroom, and a kitchenette with a convection microwave, countertop refrigerator, stovetop burner and warmer, and a table with chairs.

    This option is perfect for students who want extra space to relax or study in an apartment-style setting.

    Premium One-Bed Apartment

    Our largest single occupancy dorm room. These rooms types are either a larger layout single room (which may be ADA accessible) or a double occupancy room offered for single occupancy.

    The layout included illustrates the double occupancy room re-purposed for single occupancy (arm chair not included). Floor plans will vary based room by room. Price is for single occupancy only and includes all utility bills, service & property maintenance charges, 24-hour security, and high speed Wi-Fi. Linens, towel, and other personal effects are not included

    Two-Bed Apartment

    The Two-Bedroom Apartment is the most popular option at Hult House and offers a cost-effective and private living arrangement. Each student has a private bedroom while sharing a bathroom and kitchenette equipped with a convection microwave, countertop refrigerator, stovetop burner and warmer, and a table with stools.

    This option is ideal for students who want privacy without the higher cost of a single apartment.

    Premium Two-Bed Apartment

    Our premium 2-bed apartment offers the same layout as our standard 2-bed, but more square footage. A perfect option for students who are looking to share, but want some additional space. Price is per person and includes high speed WI-FI and utilities. Linens, plates, flatware and other personal effects are not included.

    Payment terms

    Below, please find an outline of what payments are due for your housing and what they cover. Each student will sign a License Agreement, a formal agreement required by all students prior to moving in. For complete information on terms and conditions, please refer to your License Agreement which will be sent to you after you reserve your room.

    Housing deposit

    A non-refundable deposit of 1,000 USD is required to reserve your preferred room type. The Housing Deposit is a separate charge from the Housing Fee and will appear as an individual line on the financial statement. At the completion of the reservation, the Housing Deposit will be refunded to the student provided the stipulations below are met:

    No room damages assessed

    No cleaning fees assessed

    No conduct restitution fees assessed

    No outstanding student account balance

    Normal wear and tear is considered normal, but money from this deposit may be used if furniture is damaged due to negligence or the room is deemed to be left in need of deep cleaning.

    If you have not already confirmed your place at Hult, you may express interest in a room type by joining our waitlist.

    Housing fee

    The fee to stay for the desired length in your chosen room type. Our Hult House apartments include all furniture and utilities as part of your stay.

    Your Housing Fee is due on the same schedule as your Program Fee.

    All housing deposits are non-refundable with the exception of those paid by new undergraduate students. Deposits paid by new undergraduate students are refundable until May 1 after which then they are non-refundable.

    Members of the Hult community can request access to the bike and scooter shed.

    When can I move in?

    Move-in typically begins 1-2 days before the term starts though final dates will be shared in your pre-arrival communications. Please note that we require 48 hours after booking before we can accommodate move-in.

    Can I choose my room?

    You can select a room type but not a specific unit. Room numbers are assigned at check-in, and location requests cannot be accommodated.

    How do I find a roommate?

    Roommates are matched based on gender, degree program and responses to the Living Preference Form, which is shared with residents before arrival.

    When are payments due?

    All financial details, including invoices, due dates and payment history, are available om your Student Application Portal. Please contact the Student Financial Services team with specific questions.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    Cancellations follow the terms outlined in the License Agreement which is available on myHult.

    How do I know what booking term to choose?

    • Fall/Spring/Summer: for students staying in Boston year-round, including for summer modules.

    • Fall/ Spring: for students not taking summer classes in Boston Note: booking terms can be adjusted in Spring based on rotation plans. Room availability is subject to change

    Is Summer housing available?

    Summer housing is open to all students regardless of class enrollment. Note: residents may be located within the building based on availability and operational needs.

    Is renters insurance required or recommended?

    Renters insurance is highly recommended

    Can I have guests?

    Can I have guests? Visitation and guest policies will be explained during orientation.

    Can I have a pet?

    Pets are not permitted in at Hult House. Emotional Support Animals and Service Animals may be approved through the housing accommodation process.

    Is there a dining plan?

    Hult does not offer a traditional dining plan. Students may opt into the Dining Dollars program for on-campus dining. Details are available on myHult.

    Is parking available?

    On-campus parking is not available to students.
