Merit-based scholarships

Academic Excellence Scholarship

The Academic Excellence Scholarship recognizes exceptional students who have demonstrated outstanding academic accomplishment and dedication. Candidates must present evidence of either a 3.8+ GPA or an SAT score of 1,400+.

Scholarship amount

For the 2025-2026 intake, recipients of this scholarship will receive $10,000 USD, £7,000 GBP, or 20,000 AED per academic year. This amounts to $40,000 USD, £28,000 GBP, or 80,000 AED over four years, or $30,000 USD, £21,000 GBP, or 60,000 AED over three years.

Students who are awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship are also able to apply for additional merit-based scholarships and need-based awards; however, they may only receive one in each category.

How to apply

To be considered for the Academic Excellence Scholarship, students will be evaluated based on the information submitted in their completed admissions application.

Global Generation Scholarship

The Global Generation Scholarship recognizes incoming students who bring a unique global perspective to our school community through their international experiences or multilingualism. Global Generation scholars are characterized by their open-mindedness, cross-cultural experiences, and ability to recognize diversity as a strength.

Scholarship amount

For the 2025-2026 intake, recipients of this scholarship receive $5,000 USD or £3,500 GBP or 10,000 AED each academic year. This translates to $20,000 USD or £14,000 GBP or 40,000 AED over four years, or $15,000 USD or £10,500 GBP or 30,000 AED over three years. Interested scholarship candidates can apply to multiple merit-based scholarships but can only be awarded one, with the exception of the Academic Excellence Scholarship.

Students who are awarded the Academic Excellence Scholarship are also able to apply for additional merit-based scholarships and need-based awards; however, they may only receive one in each category.

How to apply

To be considered for the Global Generation Scholarship, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should demonstrate your global mindset by illustrating how your international experience or multilingualism has impacted your personal outlook by answering one of the following questions:

How has your global experience/multilingualism contributed to who you are today?
How have your multicultural experiences affected your future ambitions and how will studying at Hult support your aspirations?

Applicants who are interested in applying for this scholarship must submit their student application before they can apply.

Growth Mindset Scholarship

The Growth Mindset Scholarship recognizes incoming students that demonstrate a growth mindset, personal development, and achievement in the face of adversity.

Scholarship amount

For the 2025-2026 intake, recipients of this scholarship will receive $5,000 USD, £3,500 GBP, or 10,000 AED per academic year. This totals $20,000 USD, £14,000 GBP, or 40,000 AED over four years, or $15,000 USD, £10,500 GBP, or 30,000 AED over three years.

Interested scholarship candidates can apply to multiple merit-based scholarships, but can only be awarded one with the exception of the Academic Excellence Scholarship.

To be considered for the Growth Mindset Scholarship, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should illustrate your perspective on what growth mindset means to you by answering one of the following questions:

Provide an example of a time where you have had to overcome a significant challenge by exhibiting a growth mindset.
What are your future career ambitions and how do you see a growth mindset being critical to achieving them?

Applicants who are interested in applying for this scholarship must submit their student application before they can apply.

Future Leader Scholarship

The Future Leader Scholarship recognizes incoming students who have the desire and potential to achieve significant success as future leaders in any industry. These students exhibit drive, self-awareness, and have the desire to lead others.

Scholarship amount

Interested scholarship candidates can apply to multiple merit-based scholarships, but can only be awarded one with the exception of the Academic Excellence Scholarship.

How to apply

To be considered for the Future Leader Scholarship, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should illustrate your perspective on leadership and consider the following questions:

What makes a successful leader? Explain how you have demonstrated these attributes.
What are your career aspirations and how will your experience at Hult help you achieve your goals?

Applicants who are interested in applying for this scholarship must submit their student application before they can apply.

Technology & Innovation Scholarship

The Technology & Innovation Scholarship supports outstanding incoming students who have a strong desire to learn about the technology that is shaping tomorrow.

Scholarship amount

For the 2025-2026 intake, recipients of this scholarship will receive $5,000 USD, £3,500 GBP, or 10,000 AED per academic year. This amounts to $20,000 USD, £14,000 GBP, or 40,000 AED over four years, or $15,000 USD, £10,500 GBP, or 30,000 AED over three years.

To be considered for the Technology & Innovation Scholarship, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should answer one of the following questions:

If you could change any mobile-friendly application that currently exists, how would you improve it?
Provide an example of a personal project demonstrating your passion and creativity for technology and innovation.

Applicants who are interested in applying for this scholarship must submit their student application before they can apply.

Need-based awards

Entrepreneurial Spirit Award

The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award recognizes students who put ideas into action. Entrepreneurial Spirit recipients are characterized by their passion, perseverance, and resourcefulness.

Award amount

For the 2025-2026 intake, recipients of this award receive $15,000 USD or £10,000 GBP each academic year. This translates to $60,000 USD or £40,000 GBP over four years, or $45,000 USD, or £30,000 GBP over three years. Recipients of this award will also be invited to participate in the Hult Founders Lab—the school’s startup launchpad.

Interested candidates can apply to multiple need-based awards but may only be awarded one.

How to apply

To be considered for the Entrepreneurial Impact Award, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should answer one of the following questions:

Describe the qualities that you believe every successful entrepreneur has. How do you embody those traits?
What are your goals as an entrepreneur and how will studying at Hult help you achieve those goals?

Applicants who are interested in applying for this award must submit their student application before they can apply.

Social Impact Award

The Social Impact Award recognizes incoming students who have a strong passion for social entrepreneurship. Recipients of this award are characterized by their passion, optimism, and commitment to making a positive impact in the world.

Award amount

Interested candidates can apply to multiple need-based awards but may only be awarded one.

How to apply

To be considered for the Social Impact Award, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should illustrate your commitment to social entrepreneurship by answering one of the following questions:

Tell us about your involvement in an initiative that has benefited your local community or global society.
Propose a business plan for a social enterprise and explain how your experience at Hult could help make this a reality.

Applicants who are interested in applying for this award must submit their student application before they can apply.

Visionary Women Award

The Visionary Women Award is for students who have outstanding drive, talent, and vision. Recipients of this award are characterized by their ambition, potential, and diversity of thought. These candidates challenge the status quo and bring a unique perspective to the table.

Award amount

For the 2025-2026 intake, recipients of this scholarship receive $15,000 USD or £10,000 GBP each academic year. This translates to $60,000 USD or £40,000 GBP over four years, or $45,000 USD or £30,000 GBP over three years.

Interested candidates can apply to multiple need-based awards but may only be awarded one.

How to apply

To be considered for the Visionary Women Award, you must submit a 400-500 word essay or a five-minute video. Your submission should illustrate your perspective on what makes someone a visionary leader by answering one of the following questions:

Currently, fewer than 10% of Fortune 500 companies have female CEOs. What do you believe would drive change to create more representation within leadership in the business community?
How do you believe studying at Hult will assist in accomplishing your goals?

Applicants who are interested in applying for this award must submit their student application before they can apply.

Through our awards program, we're committed to helping families with greater financial need make their Hult dream a reality. Along with our merit-based scholarships, you may be considered for additional financial assistance through one of these awards and/or a regional grant. Applicants will be asked to provide a declaration of finance in addition to any essay/video submissions.

Receiving your scholarship

If you're awarded any scholarship and wish to receive it, you must confirm your place no later than May 1, 2025. Otherwise, your allocated funds may be released to other students. These scholarships will be renewed each year provided you are a full-time student, are not placed on academic probation, and have no honor code violations.

Hult Sibling Grant

We know tuition fees can add up fast, especially when families have multiple children studying at the same time. The Hult Sibling Grant is designed to support families that send more than one student to Hult. Applicants who have a sibling currently attending or have attended and completed the undergraduate program, or any of the graduate programs at Hult, are eligible for a $10,000 USD or £7,000 GBP grant per year. This translates as $40,000 USD / £28,000 GBP over four years, or $30,000 USD / £21,000 GBP over three years.

Hult Scholar Grant

Our goal is to grant full tuition to up to 10% of our incoming undergraduate students. Hult Scholars are dynamic thinkers, high achievers, and influential leaders. They also embody the Hult DNA by being entrepreneurial, open-minded, and by learning by doing. Hult Scholars have exceptional academic accomplishments, require significant financial support to aid their education, and are nominated by their schools. If you believe you may qualify for the Hult Scholar Grant, please have your high school counselor reach out to a member of our enrollment team for more information.

US Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and other financial aid programs

US citizens and eligible non-citizens who wish to study at Hult can complete the FAFSA in order to qualify for US government federal student aid. To complete or update your FAFSA, go to  www.fafsa.ed.gov. Hult International Business School’s school code is 041432. Any student adding Hult to their FAFSA application should also complete this release form for consideration.

Depending on where you are from, you may be eligible for national loan and grant opportunities from your home country. During the admissions process, we will work with you to identify any regional financial aid programs that you can take advantage of.
